program is about invasive exotic plants with an emphasis on those
plants that have originated in horticulture and are still in trade.
Many of the serious invasive plants are shown, as well as
native plant substitutes for invasive species. Examples are selected
from various regions of the continental United States. The program
encourages action by garden club members to prevent and control
serious plant invasions that are threatening natural areas and
landscapes across the country. List of information sources and
suggestions for action accompany the program.
