On
June 1, 2 and 3 the North Country Garden Club hosted the Zone III Annual
Meeting on Long Island’s North Shore. The theme for the meeting, Return of the Native, was based on renewed interest in the subject
of native plants and their abundance
in Zone III. Zone III Meeting Co-Chairmen Mary Beth Donohue and Lisa Ott, and all of the
members of North Country were very gracious hosts and we were treated
royally. Our sincere thanks to Mary Beth, Lisa, the members of North
Country Garden Club and Zone III Chairman Kathy Stradar for an excellent
meeting and three glorious days in Roslyn!
